Conner Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the summer exhibit of printwork by Contemporary masters Jim Dine, Jasper Johns, Claes Oldenburg and Ellsworth Kelly.
Focusing on Jim Dine’s 1989 “Glyptotek” (a portfolio based on classical Greek imagery), these master prints will be complemented by New York native Jonathan Auger’s figurative sculptures. Work by Jasper Johns, Claes Oldenburg and Ellsworth Kelly will center around the early black and white etchings.
The exhibit opens Thursday, July 5th. There will be an open house in conjunction with Galleries of Dupont Circle’s First Friday Art Walk on July 6th from 6-8 pm.
